Acceptance
By using CarCom, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to anonymous browsers and registered accounts.
Use of the service
You may use CarCom for personal, non-commercial purposes — researching vehicles, comparing specs, finding chargers, calculating savings. Commercial use (data scraping, white-label embedding, API resale) requires a written licensing agreement. Email partners@carcom.com.
Accuracy of data
We work hard to keep vehicle specifications accurate. However, specs may change without notice as manufacturers update models. CarCom is not liable for purchasing decisions made on the basis of data displayed here. Verify all specs with the manufacturer before purchase.
User content
Saved comparisons, favorites, and account settings remain your property. We do not claim ownership. By creating a shareable comparison link, you grant CarCom the right to display the comparison to anyone with the link.
Prohibited use
You may not: scrape data at volume (more than 1 request per second), reverse engineer the API, attempt to access other users' accounts, upload malicious content, or use the service to facilitate fraud. Violations result in immediate account termination.
Third-party content
Vehicle images may originate from manufacturer press kits or licensed stock providers. Charging station data references real-world operator networks (Tesla, ChargePoint, EVgo, Electrify America). Trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Disclaimer of warranty
CarCom is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or freedom from errors. The EV savings calculator is an estimate tool — actual savings vary based on usage patterns and local utility rates.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CarCom Inc. and its employees are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months ($0 for free accounts).
Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Termination does not delete public, anonymized analytics data.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes are resolved in San Francisco County courts.
